This record is in news because in IPL 2026 a 15 years old player named Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (RR Player) made half century in just 15 balls against CSK. He is the youngest player who did this and was in the news last year as well when he made 100 (century) in 35 balls. In the fastest 100 in IPL list he is at 2nd position while Chris Gayle is still on top who made the fastest century in just 30 balls.
