The 3rd edition of Women Premier League (Tata’s WPL 2025 T20) is scheduled to play from 14 February to 15 March featuring 5 teams named Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Delhi Capitals (DC), Mumbai Indians (MI), Gujarat Giants (GG), and UP Warriorz (UPW). According to wplt20.com, the tournament will be held across four venues—Bengaluru, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Vadodara—with a total of 22 matches and final will be played on 15 March at Brabourne Stadium.
2025 WPL: Teams
2025 Women Premier League or Tata’s WPL 2025 is the 3rd edition. Previous 2 WPL editions were played in 2024 (RCB was winner), and 2023 (MI was winner). This time once again the tournament is back with bang and it will be played among 5 Teams which are – RCB, MI, DC, GG, and UPW!
2025 WPL: Venues
The Women’s Premier League 2025 will be played across four venues—Vadodara, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai. This season marks an expansion to four cities, compared to 2024, when matches were held at just two venues (Delhi and Bengaluru). The inaugural edition in 2023 was exclusively played in Mumbai. - M. Chinnaswamy Stadium (Bengaluru)
- Ekana Cricket Stadium (Lucknow)

2025 WPL: Playing Format
Women’s Premier League will be played in Double Round Robin format. Each team face other team twice one match at home and other match away. Example MI VS RCB – MI will play with RCB at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai and then MI will play with RCB at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
There would be total 20 matches (10+10) at league stage. The top 3 teams will qualify for playoff. Team at #No 1 will advance to Final and Team at #No 2, and #No 3 will play the eliminator match on March 13, 2025. After that final will be played between #No 1 Team and Winner of Eliminator!
WPL 2025: Date and Time

February 14 to March 11, 2025 league stage matches will be played. Thereafter, the team who scores high in the points table advances directly to the final and rest two teams (at no. 2 and no. 3) will play the eliminator round on March 13. Later, the final will be played between top 2 team on March 15.
