Playing court in Kho Kho is in rectangle state where players of one team sit on central line and other can run. When you play this game in your society you don’t care about the dimensions, but at professional level you do care about the dimensions of the actual playing court in Kho-Kho as this makes the game fair and interesting.
In standard Kho-Kho game, the playing court of Kho-Kho is in rectangle shape having dimensions of 27 meters by 16 meters for men and women. This playing facility can be indoor or outdoor and this will further divide in different sections which includes sitting area, free zone area, pole placement at both ends and more.
So the dimensions of the actual playing court in Kho Kho with active playing area including the free zone area, is 27 meters by 16 meters… but if exclude the free zone area then the dimensions of the actual playing court in Kho Kho without active playing area would be 24 meters by 16 meters.

The field is divided into two equal parts through the center line (8 meters left side and 8 meters right side), the width of central line would be 35 cm from 1 pole to another pole. As the 16 meters divided mainly in 2 parts, the 27 meters length will divided in 11 parts this will include:

- Pole to first player distance: 2.55 meters
- First Player to 2nd Player distance: 2.3 meters

The position of the pillars forms the important part of the field. Each pillar is 1.20 m high and circular, made of wood or strong material and players can use it to chance direction.
