ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 – Groups and Teams with Full Schedule

ICC men’s 2026 t20 world cup which is the 10th edition is scheduled to play in India & Sri Lanka. In this edition 20 teams are going to participate and it will begin on 7 February, while the final will be played between top 2 teams on 8 March! This is the most awaited cricket tournament of this year and here’s what you should know!

Tournament Format

The tournament format of this year T20 World Cup is same as previous 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. There will be first group stage matches (4 groups), then top 2 teams of each group will advance to super 8 stage (2 groups of 4 teams),  again those who stay in top 2 from each group will play the semi final 1 and semi final 2, and later there will we final match of this tournament will be played between winner of semi-finalist 1 and semi-finalist 2.

Venues of 2026 T20 World Cup

The host countries for 2026 T20I World cup are India and Sri Lanka. So the matches will be played in both countries including all group stages, knockout stage, and final.

Note: Regarding the venue – the venue of some matches will be decided later. If Pakistan qualifies, then respective matches will be played in Sri Lanka instead India!

Note: Bangladesh refused to play T20I WC 2026 in India, hence ICC disqualified Bangladesh and replaced it with Scotland.
