The officials have not yet announced the dates or host nation for the 2027 edition… but as per the leaks, World Championship of Legends Season 4 will be played in 2027 in the month of July-August. The rumors also highlighted that due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East region and a state of high alert in Europe, the organizers may consider new markets in Asia or return to the UK. There is a strong possibility that the 4rth season of WCL T20 cricket could take place in India or Australia.
The latest reports also reveal that WCL Season 4 will have 7 teams – IND, PAK, BAN, AUS, ENG, WI, and SA. If the Pakistan Champions decide not to participate in this league, then organizers might then invite the Sri Lankan champions for WCL Season 4. On the other hand, some experts point that in 2027, we might see 8 teams – the regular 5 teams + Ban/Pak/SL. If this happens, this will make the WCL tournament more interesting and thrilling.
The format of WCL Season 4 will be same as previous seasons. First there will be group stage matches, and then knock out stage matches – semi-finals, and later final will be played.
